RCM to host annual public meeting next month

The Royal Canadian Mint is inviting Canadians to attend or tune in to its annual public meeting, which will take place on Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

The Mint’s interim President and CEO Jennifer Camelon and Board Chair Phyllis Clark will share information about the Crown corporation’s performance and plans while taking questions from the audience.

NEW NUMISMATIC LINE

Chief Technology Officer Xianyao Li will then join Camelon to officially launch a new line of numismatic coins and tokens from the Mint’s world-renowned research and development lab. Guests may also view samples of some of the corporation’s products.

The meeting will be held at University of Ottawa’s Alex Trebek Alumni Hall (Johnson Hall) on 157 Séraphin-Marion Private in Ottawa, Ont.

Those unable to attend the meeting in person are encouraged to join via a teleconference. More details will be available soon.
