The Ontario Numismatic Society (ONA) has appointed Dan Bowyer as its new secretary following the resignation of Holly LeJeune earlier this year.
Bowyer has been involved in numismatics since the early 1960s, when he joined the North York Coin Club and the Toronto Coin Club before serving as the president for a short time in the 1970s. He is a life member of both the ONA and Royal Canadian Numismatic Association and a Fellow of the U.K.-based Royal Numismatic Society.
“His experience is of great value, and we look forward to his active participation within the ONA,” said ONA President Sean Sinclair. “I hope you will all join me in welcoming Dan to this important ONA position.”
