Mint has strong presence at RCNA show

The Royal Canadian Mint is definitely a strong supporter of the Royal Canadian Numismatic Association.

This is clearly evident at this week’s RCNA’s 61st annual convention being held in the Toronto suburb of Mississauga.

“We are certainly very proud to be supporting the RCNA and the coin community,” Marc Brule, interim president of the RCM, said during the opening ceremonies.

The Mint has a large display at the three-day show and bourse; sponsored a reception for RCNA members and, today, brought in RCM engraver Matthew Bowen to autograph coins he has engraved and to meet with collectors.

The RCNA Convention continues until Sunday morning. The show and bourse continues until Saturday and is open to the public. The show opens at 10 a.m.
