The Manitoba Coin Club held its latest fall show on Sept. 23-24 with about 300 show-goers coming through the door in the provincial capital.
“Vendors and patrons were very pleased with our event,” reads the October edition of Bison Tales, the club’s newsletter. “We once again had great crowds with around 300 people coming through the doors.”
Special guests with the Royal Canadian Mint hosted what organizers called a “well-received” coin exchange on the show’s opening day featuring the Elsie Macgill $1 coin, a commemorative circulation loonie issued this August.
