Clubs return to in-person meetings

As mentioned in recent issues of CCN, many clubs are returning to in-person meetings as various governments lift pandemic restrictions across the country.

As of the end of March, the Brantford Numismatic Society, Calgary Numismatic Society, Champlain Coin Club, Lakeshore Coin Club (in Québec), London Numismatic Society, Polish-Canadian Coin & Stamp Club (also known as Troyak), Regina Coin Club, Saint John Coin Club, Scarborough Coin Club and Windsor Coin Club have all resumed meeting in person.

The Saskatoon Coin Club, Manitoba Coin Club and Edmonton Numismatic Society will host their first meetings in more than two years on April 6, April 9 and April 13, respectively.

The Canadian Tire Collectors Club also has its next meeting set for April 23.

The Etobicoke-Mississauga Coin, Stamp and Collectibles Club, North Shore Numismatic Society, Ottawa Numismatic Society, Waterloo Coin Society and South Wellington Coin Society will continue to host virtual meetings.

Both the Mid-Island Coin Club, based in Vancouver, and the Hamilton Coin Society are forgoing meetings during the pandemic.
