Canadian Coin News is seeking a columnist to write a review on numismatic books, particularly those focusing on Canadian material.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys reading and writing and loves sharing that passion with others. The commitment we seek is one column per month covering 12 issues of CCN. The length of our book reviews runs between 750 and 850 words maximum, along with an image of the book. The key skill sets include: writing concise and insightful reviews that provide a clear picture of the book’s content, style, and overall appeal; and, ensuring the reviews meet CCN’s editorial standards for quality, accuracy, and objectivity.
The columnist will receive a stipend plus the cost of the book to be reviewed (unless provided at no charge by the publisher). If this opportunity interests you, please forward a letter highlighting your skill sets and why you would be the perfect fit for the position. Also, please forward two samples of your writing. Please email your expression of interest to CCN Editor Mike Walsh at mwalsh@trajan.ca. No phone inquiries, please.
