Colonial Acres expands auction to three days
Canada’s largest stamp and coin show returns to the Hilton Mississauga this Sept. 7-8!
Presented by Canadian Coin News and Canadian Stamp News, the National Postage Stamp and Coin Show will showcase approximately 50 philatelic and numismatic dealers from across Canada. The last show in April set a new record for opening day attendance.
“The show offers collectors an unparalleled opportunity to buy and sell with Canada’s top dealers,” says show manager Mike Walsh. “After the summer break, many of our dealers will be bringing exciting new material they’ve acquired over the last several months.”
The show’s prime location in the spacious and bright ballroom of the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale, just off Highway 401 at 6750 Mississauga Road, adds to its appeal. Complimentary parking is included in the admission price of only $6 on Saturday and $3 on Sunday. Children under 16 can attend for free. The show opens both days at 10 a.m., closing at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
A highlight of the event is the premier numismatic auction presented by Colonial Auctions of Kitchener, Ont.
Colonial Acres’ Sale No. 123 is expanding to three days from the traditional two, says company co-owner Todd Sandham. “This auction will feature many scarce items that are sure to attract active bidding,” he explains. “We’ve added a third session due to the increased number of submissions we’ve received.” For full auction details and viewing times, visit colonialacres.com/pages/auction.
