The 57th annual international convention of the Orders and Medals Society of America (OMSA) is coming to Pittsburgh, Penn., this Aug. 11-14.
OMSA members collect, research and preserve award medals of all kinds – military and civilian – including Orders of Knighthood, decorations for bravery and medals for various types of service.

According to organizers, this year’s show, being held at Pittsburgh’s Wyndham Grand Hotel on 600 Commonwealth Pl., offers attendees a “great opportunity” to sell, trade and display orders; medals; decorations; award documents; publications on awards; uniforms of recipients; honour goblets; and swords presented in recognition of service or gallantry.
The show also features an extensive competitive exhibition and a series of numismatic seminars.
